Thanks to its all-electrified choice of powertrains, the 2024 Volvo XC90 can boast better fuel consumption figures than the Audi Q7. Indeed, the XC90 powered with the mild-hybrid engine burns about 9.8 litres of fuel per 100 kilometres on average in combined driving, while the Audi requires 11.0 litres in the same conditions. Of course, opting for the XC90 Recharge makes this comparison even more advantageous for Volvo since its plug-in hybrid powertrain further reduces the amount of fuel needed on every trip, thanks in no small part to the electric ranges which makes it possible to drive 53 kilometres before the gasoline engine is needed.

A distinctive style

The 2024 Volvo XC90 also stands out from the Audi Q7 due to its elegant Scandinavian design. While Audi vehicles are usually elegant, they often end up blending in with other vehicles on the road.
